For filling tile joints with epoxy, cement, polyurethane and silicone grouts

A universal tool for the finishing stage of any tiling and finishing work: from a classic bathroom to industrial facilities with epoxy grouts, from decorative stone to mosaics

Ensures fast and professional joint grouting for those who value the result. The plastic base does not bend, the rubber evenly fills the joint, and the ergonomic handle prevents fatigue even when working on large areas. One tool — for cement, epoxy, polyurethane and silicone grout.

The Advanta grout float consists of a rectangular working base measuring 240×94 mm and 6.8 mm thick, made of polystyrene with a rubber working layer, and a two-component handle — both elements are securely joined into a solid structure. The shape and rigidity are selected so that the float maintains its geometry under load and does not “wander” in the hand even during intensive work.

The tool is designed for professional tilers and all-round craftsmen — for everyone for whom the quality of the final joint is part of their reputation and a criterion for the next order.

Advantages of the ADVANTA 240*94 mm grout float

The ergonomic two-component handle follows the anatomical contour of the palm — the hand does not get tired during prolonged work, and the surface material does not slip in wet conditions even when in contact with mortar.

Combined corner geometry — two straight corners and two rounded corners. The rounded corners allow neat grouting in corners, junctions and when working with mosaics, where a straight tool inevitably “catches” the adjacent element. The straight corners are convenient for grouting mosaic tiles and removing excess grout from the surface.

The rigid plastic base does not bend under pressure and distributes force evenly along the entire 240 mm length. At the same time, the rubber layer gently presses against the tile — the joint is filled without voids and without the risk of damaging glazed tiles.

The 240 mm width is twice as wide as standard narrow floats of 120–145 mm. A larger area is covered in one pass, which noticeably reduces working time on large-format porcelain stoneware or wide wall surfaces.

Chemical resistance — the construction materials do not deteriorate when in contact with cement, epoxy, polyurethane and silicone grouts. The float retains its shape at sub-zero temperatures and in high humidity.

Applications of the ADVANTA grout float

The ADVANTA 240×95 mm float is suitable for grouting the following types of work:

  • Ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware — walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and restrooms
  • Mosaics — glass, ceramic, stone; the rubber layer does not damage delicate surfaces
  • Corners, junctions and niches — rounded corners allow efficient and high-quality grouting of hard-to-reach areas.
  • Premises with increased hygiene requirements — swimming pools, hospitals, food production areas, laboratories with epoxy grouts resistant to chemicals and alkalis
  • Facades, terraces, balconies — exterior work with weather-resistant grouts

How to use the ADVANTA grout float

  1. Make sure the adhesive under the tile has completely dried — usually 24–48 hours. Clean the joints from mortar residue and dust.
  2. Prepare the grout according to the manufacturer’s instructions: cement grout should have the consistency of thick sour cream; epoxy grout is mixed with the second component immediately before starting work.
  3. Apply the grout to the tile surface, holding the float at a 30–45° angle to the surface. Press the mixture into the joints with diagonal movements, leaving no voids.
  4. Move diagonally relative to the joints — this prevents the tool from pulling the grout back out. Use the rounded corners in corner joints and junctions.
  5. Use the straight corners to remove excess grout from the tile surface.
  6. Immediately after work, thoroughly wash the float with a soapy solution. When working with epoxy grout, do not delay cleaning: hardened epoxy can only be removed with special solvents.
