How to Lay Tiles Using the Advanta Tile Leveling System?

The first step is to purchase a tile leveling system for a high-quality result in our online store. Our managers will assist you in selecting the right system for your needs, calculating the required quantity, and arranging delivery. Once this important step is completed, you can proceed to the installation process, which consists of several stages:

Preparing the Work Surface

• Remove all uneven spots, dust, or dirt, ensuring the surface is clean and dry.
• Prepare the adhesive mixture, following the correct proportions specified in the instructions.
• Apply the adhesive evenly across the prepared surface using a notched trowel.

Laying and Leveling

• Place the first tile onto the adhesive, pressing it slightly, and ensure it is level using a spirit level.
• Place the base of the tile leveling system between the tiles to create the desired thickness of the tile joint.
• Continue laying the subsequent tiles, maintaining consistent joints across the entire surface.
• Insert the wedges into the SVP bases to level any height differences or irregularities on the tile edges, and tighten the wedges firmly in the base slots. This can be done manually or using an SVP tool.
• Complete the tiling process and lightly wipe the surface, particularly the joints, to remove any adhesive residues.

Dismantling and Cleaning the Surface

• Allow for a curing period, waiting until the adhesive is completely dry.
• Remove the leveling system and wedges by knocking them out with your foot or a rubber mallet in the direction of the joint.
• Use a rubber trowel to fill the grout lines and clean the surface of any leftover materials or dirt.
